Changing Perceptions
Experience… Enjoy… Experiment… Envisage…
These are not usually words associated with RIBA Approved CPD Seminars. But with “Changing Perceptions” we hope to change your point of view. Expanded metal mesh from The Expanded Metal Company is a rising star in architecture. Gracing some of the worlds most prestigious recent projects, this often concealed material is breaking out of it’s traditional constraints to reveal an urbane design tool suitable for both internal and external applications.
Please contact us to book our RIBA approved seminar entitled “Changing Perceptions”. To help change your perceptions, the seminar covers many high profile projects from the UK, Europe and the USA, highlighting how expanded metal has been used in such diverse applications as walkways, balustrades, solar screens and facades. Technical subjects such as sustainability, recycling and strength to weight ratios are also covered. The Expanded Metal Company is leading the field in innovative exterior and interior surface cladding for internationally renowned architectural projects.

Expanded Metal Company Launch The Experience Mesh RIBA CPD Roadshow
Expanded metal has seen something of a renaissance recently. Once regarded as an essential, though rather unglamorous, interior structural material, it is now being specified extensively for the exterior of new and refurbished buildings where its exceptional strength to weight ratio provides many design benefits, as well for exciting interior applications.
A new RIBA Approved CPD Seminar programme from The Expanded Metal Company entitled 'Changing Perceptions ' explores the design opportunities that the material offers the architect and interior designer.
Dates and locations for the series are; Dublin 6th Nov 2007, Belfast 7th Nov 2007, Manchester, 20th February 2008, Birmingham 23th April 2008 Cardiff 24th April 2008
