Fastrack Fencing

The Fastrack system has been specifically designed for the rail industry and in particular trackside protection.

Installation is quick and easy, and, once erected the fencing requires very little maintenance as it has a long life expectancy, a low recycling value and will not need replacing or upgrading.

As with all Expamet Security Products Fencing systems, Fastrack is difficult to penetrate and scale, it offers improved aesthetics, good through vision, and can help to deter route crime issues.

Materials

All materials are hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:1999

A choice of mesh is available to this range, these are:
4095 – 5mm strands 102.5 nominal apertures
2089 – 3mm strands 50.8 nominal apertures

1.8m high system. Intermediate post type – 60 x 40 x 3mm RHS including pre fabricated lugs for the fitting of channel stringers.

Corner post type – 60 x 60 x 3mm RHS including pre fabricated lugs for the fitting of channel stringers.

2.4m high system. Intermediate post type – 80 x 40 x 3mm RHS including pre fabricated lugs for the fitting of channel stringers.

Corner post type – 80 x 80 x 3mm RHS including pre fabricated lugs for the fitting of channel stringers.

Each panel 3m wide will require three stringers per panel each stringer to receive 6 latch clamps per stringer (to secure mesh).

Overlap of mesh at the post is achieved by use of clamp strip made from flat steel 40 x 5mm, drilled to receive 4 no. M8 bolts (1.8 high) 5 no. M8 bolts (2.4 high). The overlap of mesh will be 150mm at the centre line of post.

Assembly Details

The Fastrack system is based on post centres of 3 metres – the panel size is 3150mm wide whatever the height.

The overlap of mesh at the post will be approximately 150mm which is secured by a cover strip then by 4 or 5 no. security bolts (depending on height of system).

Each panel will need 3 stringers with 6 latch clamps to secure mesh.

Polyester powder coating is available in a wide range of colours to conform to BS6497.

A comprehensive range of gates are available to complete this system.

This fencing can also accommodate a range of security toppings

Straight extension to receive 3 strands of barbed wire or razor wire.

Cranked head extension to receive 3 strands of barbed wire or razor wire.

Increased security can be achieved with this system by burying the mesh into the ground. (Please specify additional requirements when ordering).
The system is also suitable for sloping and undulating ground conditions extra fixings are supplied for this and must be specified when ordering.
Anti-vandal security fittings are standard on the integral parts of the system.
