Hy Security Fencing

The Hy-security system offers a rigid fencing system for high security perimeter protection with maximum resistance to vandalism, impact and attack. Each panel is constructed from robust expanded metal steel mesh (4095, 2089) which is welded to horizontal angle supports.

Vertical edges are capped with a ‘U’ section steel edging which is then fabricated to form a rigid secure panel.

On installation the pre fabricated panel is secured to RHS steel posts. The fixings are inaccessible from attack face to maximise the fence’s high security protection, yet still maintaining ease of installation.

Minimal maintenance is required.

The Hy-security system offers good through vision qualities and retains the strength for this system.

Materials

RHS posts are available with this system at a range of heights to accommodate any requirements.

All materials are hot dipped galvanised to the BS EN ISO 1461:1999

Assembly Details

Post centres determined at intervals of 2.4m centres, ensuring front face of RHS posts as the correct facing way.

Posts are set in concrete block foundations to comply with recommended fencing specification BS1722 part 14.

Posts have pre welded lugs for ease of installation

If fencing is stepped it needs to be specified at quotation stage.

Posts to be set in blocks of concrete i.e.
1800 high = 450mm x 450mm x 600mm
2400 high = 450mm x 450mm x 750mm

Powder coatings are also available to BS6497. The ranges of colours are covered by RAL colour specification.

A range of security toppings are available for this system these include:
Cranked head extensions to accommodate three strands of barbed or razor wire.

Coiled barbed or razor wire can also be used, a range of diameters of coils are available.

Anti Vandal Scaling Barrier

Additional security can be achieved by burying mesh panels into ground
