The Expanded Metal Company has been supplying worldwide markets in industrial and building products from our purpose built manufacturing site in Hartlepool for over 100 years. Additional production facilities in Germany and Poland give customers access to the most effective production techniques throughout Europe and well-established distribution facilities worldwide ensure that we respond effectively to international orders of all sizes.
The Expanded Metal Company is a Gibraltar Industries Company. Gibraltar Industries is a leading manufacturer, processor, and distributor of primarily metal materials for the building, vehicular, and industrial markets. We have approximately 4,000 employees. Gibraltar serves a large number of customers in a variety of industries in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Central and South America. In the last decade, Gibraltar has grown from a company with just nine facilities mainly in the Great Lakes region to one today which operates coast-to-coast with 84 facilities in 27 states, Canada, China, England, Germany, and Poland. We intend to continue to strengthen our North American operations and look for additional growth opportunities in international markets.
