To help encourage the use of expanded metal as an architectural tool, The Expanded Metal Company has recently completed a brand new architectural “concept” brochure. The aim of the brochure is to create a greater awareness of the wide variety of applications for which expanded metal can offer an innovative solution.
Expanded metal is such a versatile material it easily lends itself to applications as varied as structural support, cladding, solar screens, balustrades, walkways and even acoustic panels.
The book is filled with striking images of familiar structures and also many recent applications which have seen the traditional boundaries of mesh manufacture pushed to their very limits.
