Expamet Security Products
Expamet Security Products use expanded metal mesh to produce robust security fences and other security products. The comprehensive range of systems means a fence can be tailored to suit individual requirements and needs, whether in the replacement of an existing fence, or where a new one is required.
In 2002 Expamet Security Products became the first fencing manufacturer in the UK to achieve “Secured by Design” accreditation, the UK’s police flagship initiative supporting the principles of designing out crime. Secured by Design identifies technical standards and evaluations, which test the competence of security products and their resistance to criminal attack put forward by the police service as “ Police Preferred Specification”.
The British Standards Institution has awarded Expamet Security Products a BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems Certificate which ensures quality production, distribution and customer service. We also have a BS EN ISO 14001:1996 Environmental Management Systems Certificate which ensures that environmental issues are considered in relation to all company activities. Expanded Metal Fencing Systems can be specified using the relevant British Standard - BS 1722, part 14.
